OK in an other thread I mention I had some old magazines that had a lot of Galactica articles that I haven't seen around online before. Some of them were beat up via a mouse chewed a few of them up, and well I was asked to post these items, and I said yeah sure when I get a scanner working, but a few guys said take photos. Well here they are. I didn't scale the photos down at all because they aren't the clearest photos, and I wanted you the readers to see the text. Since this is a temp thread till I can replace the photos with scans and delete this thread. I have about 20 photos I took and did minor edit via cropping, but no scaling down. In most of the photos if you look in the bottom left corner you can see the mag page, and date.
Enjoy.

OK it seems that I have over loaded the forum with the photos well at least this thread. The images on the 2nd posting got a bit squirrely.

As soon as you can get your scanner working again, I'd like to have a high-resoluted scan of this particular picture...

For you I'll do it, since you have gone to so much effort in the research of the Imperious Leader.

Thank you, I'll appreciate it very much...
By the way: Do you still in contact with the previous owner of the original screen-used Imperious Leader-costume?
Maybe he's got some more reference material to share as well...
I still believe that there's more information on him available somewhere beyond the heavens...

They didn't have any photos. Matter of fact I had photos of their stuff they didn't even remember taking, but they knew it was there photos since it was in there house, and office.

OK scanner is working again, and I just grabbed a few magazines to try the scanner out, and here we go. I have a lot of work ahead of me to scan this pages, so bare with me a bit as I work on this, but here are a few I scanned today.

SO - that one of the inside of the Basestar with the raiders... it basically says in the caption for the photo that a 1978 Monogram Raider IS a screen used, Studio Scale, prop ship! WOW
I guess you could call them a "Stunt Raider" or a Background Raider as they were filler/in passing ships, not the close up "Hero Raiders" (larger filming ones) one would say IS Stuido Scale.
Cool beans.

Yeah Monogram was very happy that they had their model on screen. Also did you notice that Daggit and Cylon. The Daggit was the real deal, while the Cylon undersuit looked great, while I give the guy that made the suit on the fly A for effort.
