Hello, my name is Chuck aka Ruffkintoy. I make alot of costumes including Boba Fett,Stormtrooper, Predator, Alien, etc. I have been wanting to do a cylon costume since my friend Andy(Mrfett) got his. I have recently acquired a cylon costume in a trade but I need to upgrade the bodysuit, boots and a few other things. I will be starting the new bodysuit as soon as the rest of my materials get here.

Welcome on board, and lets see what you have in the armored world. Is it a fan kit, or a Kropserkel.

I'll try to get some pictures this weekend but I was told it's a C.O.R.A. It came built already.

A very good way to tell the two apart is the shape of the mohawk. KS's is wider at the top than C.O.R.A.'s.
Looking foward to the pics when you have the time to post them. Thanks!

Would that make it a Krophawk?

Here's a picture of the helmet, chest and backpack. Hope that helps tell for sure what it is.

Looks like the can of spray paint chrome finish. The give away is the damaged areas on the chest, and the black backing. If you pan on repairing, or repainting with out the true chrome finish use a high gloss black paint to improve the luster of the chrome paint.

I would say it is a CORA kit. Can you tell about how many parts make up the back pack... six total?

Yeah, it's spray paint chrome. I plan to repaint it until I can find a good chromer that's not overly expensive. Thanks for the tip on the high gloss paint.
As for the backpack, it is made up of 6 vacuformed pieces.

6 piece count on the pack back is C.O.R.A., and if your looking to get your items to be chromed I have a shipment heading out. I have 1 of 3 boxes in LA already, and if you want to jump in on it they quote only when they have the items in hand. get back to me if you want to get in on the chroming. The more items in the over all count the cheaper it becomes for each piece.

What prep work would I need to do for chroming? Do you have a rough estimate on price? and how soon would you need the parts/money?
