Cylon Centurion Armor and Weapons
Here are some illustrations I made back in 2010 for the purposes of outlining Cylon Centurion armor design (from all angles), as well as detailing the layout of both sidearm, longarm and sword. Note that the detailing on the side of the rifle appears to be the upper deck of a WWII battleship model kit. It's considerably more detailed than anything else on the prop.
I may appear unoccupied to you, but at the molecular level, I'm really quite busy.

Re: Cylon Centurion Armor and Weapons
Thank you for posting all this brilliant artwork!
I'd also love to see some schematics for the rest of the Cylons (Imperious Leader, IL-Series, Civilians), if you have the time...

Oh, yes, it has occurred to me to work on something like that! It is on my list of things to get to eventually.
However, in the meantime, during the course of this particular effort, I have re-discovered the schematics I drew for the original reptilian Cylons which had just been added here. I know it's not Impy, but it's another interesting and rare aspect of TOS BSG that I wish was explored more than it has been.
Thanks very much for the kind words!

Thanks for posting these, and you might have noticed that they're already part of our Reptilian Cylon section over at our Gallery: http://www.byyourcommand.net/cylongalle ... ?album=897
I really hope they'll concentrate on the REAL Cylon history someday... *Sigh*

Yeah I think I have seen these before. Awesome. BTW it is ok to release the full sized image.

"Speak."
I find it intriguing, but most distressing, that the gladius was employed so rarely.
Was it primarily employed for the decapitations of humanoid organic prisoners?

Most likely. I think we only ever saw it being used the one time when Impy ordered Baltar's execution. Don't recall ever seeing it at any other time.

It was also featured in the beginning of the scene where the Centurions interrogated Thane in "Gun on Ice Planet Zero".
