BUMP...for answer...

Dale, great comarison pics. Did you make the replica suit or did your seamstress person make it? Also, are the 'ribbing sections' sewn onto the suit or glued? Please show any details of the ribbing and how it attaches to the suit. Also, what was the thickness of your replica patches for the undersuit? Are the patches the same as your original (thick and stiff) or the too thin kind that I've seen before? Post some pics of the patches, too. Thanks!!!

The replica suit is with the seam tress right now, being used to make two other copies. The tubing is sewed it, and the patch work is 1:1 of the original is size, and cut, but a thicker material, over the thinner original, with the buck rum backing.

It is a back support to give the patch area a stiffer look.

Look near the bottom of the leg leg kneecap area, see how it has a stiff bend, it will bounce back.

Hi Dale, just got to an internet cafe I have discovered in town. Sorry to sound like a broken record, but where do things stand with the suit? After all this time I am still happy to wait, but I am curious as to what the latest mishap is that has befallen the seamstress. Anyway I know that you are being mucked around by her so I appreciate your efforts.

I just was down to see Mary Friday, and she has no news at all, but her husband was throwing free things to me, like custom made hats, or shirts, with logos. I think I'll take them up on a few of those, and send you a ByYourCommand.net T shirt. A far cry from the suit, but I did make sure they Mary, and her husband that the set back they have had were long enough ago they have had plenty of time to correct the their problems, and get these suit ASAP. The biggest problem that I can see is they have what is completed, and my suit in a storage locker, and haven't brought them out to continue working on them. Again the same old promise has been made, they will get the stuff out this week, but a surprise visit will tell when I show up again this week. Last time I show up with out a warning of legal action will be the next time they hear from me. This has been a year now, and I just want the stuff back, finished or not.

So whatever happened in this saga of the seamstress and the unfinished suits? Were they ever finished? If not, did you get the partialy finished stuff and materials back? Will authentic undersuits ever be sold?

I was supposed to call Monday evening to arrange to pick up Thursday, but was so busy she had closed up shop when I called. I'll try Thursday July 5th and see if she has them ready to pick up. Her shop is closed Tuesday, and today a Holiday I doubt if she is open.

I saw Mary last Monday, she was leaving for vacation and would finish up the few minor details on the 15th when she returns.

Sorry, mine isn't ready either... but I hope it won't take long anymore.

As soon as I got it into my hands, pictures follow of course.

Holly cow the day has come to pick up the suits. They have been finished, and are in route to the shop to be picked up. I stopped by on Saturday to see Mary, and she said the 2 under suits are finished. They were at her mother in laws house being finished for minor details, and were going to be picked up on Tuesday (today). Depending on my work shift, and load I'll be able to go pick these suits up on Thursday. Photos to be posted in a few days.
