adding the final touches - decals

Post by Hand-Schaub » Fri Jun 24, 2011 7:56 pm

I have been hard at work making 4 backpacks and armor parts for board members. The part a lot of people forget or don't want to deal with is the decals. I got some pinstripe decals from the hobby store as that is what the originals had. The end product has that 'scratch built' look that I love about the Cylons. I basically found a straight on photo of the decals and sized them 1:1 on the computer. I printed them out so I could get accurate measurements. Some were just eyeballed but the it seemed to work out. I'm also using this thread as an excuse to show the people who bought a backpack what they look like now that they are done.
thanks for looking.

thanks,

actually - doing the decals is a highlight because I get to use the orange tape! It really dates the robot to the 70s!
