Thoughts on cylon gloves (Silver band Pole)

What is the general consensus about the silver band at the top of the Gloves. Some Cylons have it while others don't. What do you all think? Should it have it or not?

my preference is no silver. I think Dale's screen used Cylon has a charcoal band on it...

Dale told me I believe, that it was the undersuit rib cover fabric sewn and laminated over the pad.

I say yes.

Gotta keep things looking like the original. But I wouldn't do a sliver/chrome like the armor. It should be the gun metal gray like the skirting, leg patches, and panels on the helmet. If you do those in black for a build, then I would say leave the glove cuffs black. As long as they match to me is okay... and if closer to screen used colors, then all the better.

The replica gloves should be as close to the originals as possible.

A Kropserkel has a silver band, and looks awful. The charcoal gray material used in the suit is the material used on the gloves, except the brooklet, and gold Cylons. They used gold painted electrical type tape.

I know this is an old thread now, but I just noticed that "the Hand of God" command centurion has a gloss black band on his glove instead of the copper/gold. I'll probably do this version, since I am going copper rather than gold, anyway.

That was most notable when the Cylon was using the ladder, and needed a good firm grip while climbing.

I did see the leather driving gloves on the ladder, but I meant in the control room, his hockey gloves have the gloss black band. I was looking at the screencap I linked to above.

They had glossy black bands at the cuffs of their gloves indeed.
