The fabric was about 25 dollars a yard (this is the really nice stuff, thick) but the dying was in total for 5 yards about 375. there is a set up fee and then a fee per yard to dye it. when all was said and done to get the fabric and have it dyed it was about $450.00. Well worth it if you want the correct color. The woman who dyed it is an industry pro and has a wealth of knowledge about indoor and outdoor color matching. I highly recommend a dying art. Oh there is a minimum of 5 yards that you can dye.

yes it should be thick. We have found that with the thick fabric and using a sewing foot for a stretch stitch there is minimal if any stretching when sewing the suit together. My suit is underway and looking great. we should have the undershirt with hood done today, and then tomorrow we will start the pants with ribbing. sadly my vacation is almost over and we may have to put on hold till Take more time. having the person there to fit it on seems to be crucial to getting the suit right.

I think we have two subjects here mixed into one. The rifle was the subject and I think under suits by accident made in here also.
