I don't think you can get that amount of movement in that thick of rubber to translate through the material. I could be wrong but that's what my gut is telling me. I'll study it with that in mind.

Don't know if it helps, but here's a pic of the mask in it's current state:

Unfortunately, most of the latex is gone (aside from a few fragments) but you can clearly see the fiberglass cap housing the wiring and eye marbles.

I've got some more photos of the damaged mask if that would be of any help...

I would love to see them. I saw this pic. Fiberglass under skull with the mounted eyes. The brow movers are under that hunk of rotted foam in the center of the forehead. Also the cable is old school goldenrod rc plane cable.

I don't think I noticed before but with the strings going back and forth across the face that is connected to the eyes that now looks like from the early 70 the clackers that were very popular for kids back then.

I think you nailed it, if it isn't it looks like it is. I would love to see a hi res, it could even be a right left piano wire eye mech rig I guess.

Under closer inspection I believe they are not clackers. What I think you are seeing is the brass stock in the back of the eye that is holding the Eyes in place

I belive That's the brass bar eye holder restricting light. If you notice the black line goes transparent when off but lit with external lighting. Thanks I'm all over it,
