I hate to hear that man. I have deleted most of my Galactica vids because I was sure that it would only be a matter of time before Universal gave me a copyright strike.
I'm spending LOTS of time and money fixing to do some awesome things with my Youtube account and I won't have it deleted for plagerism or the like. It frustrates me that large corporate types don't realize that fan edit vids like mine serve only to promote them and their works, not take away from them in ANY way, monetarily...
I bought an HD dSLR and am fixing to spend about $2000 bucks on Adobe CS5... I'm going to try and make partner. I'll have to have a 'squeaky clean' account. So eventually I will delete ALL my videos that aren't 100% my own original work.
I posted a bulletin saying just that and vwalla! The copyright strike I already had suddenly disappeared!!!
Someone at Youtube likes me and had mercy on me! Copyright strikes NEVER expire (as stated in the info and terms of use). The copyright strike was from NBC Universal on one of my Airwolf music remake vids. I have deleted all of them except one that is now unlisted and can only be seen from my channel. It's sad because I have years of work on my vids.
Now I'm going to change direction.
I have made a new friend in Germany, Joerg. Like you, he is a very generous person and an obtainer of rare, fan loved, antiquities... I am fixing to make an important post about him in the off topics section that any fans of the music of He Man and the Masters of the Universe will fall out of their seat over!
