The poster photos

Post by GoldCylon » Tue Feb 07, 2012 6:38 pm

A friend sent me these today. They are photos that were used to make the posters. The image with the multiple images is the original master. The Galactica photo was never used as a poster. A yard stick at the bottom to get an idea the size of these pictures. Image

Wow, nice pics.

Would you mind scanning the Porcine Alien photo for me?

I'll see what I can do from my own scanner. Taking it to a shop to scan isn't in my budget at the moment. I am planning to move in a few months.

What a great set of pieces. Are you going to frame them for your new place when you settle in?

I can scan them too if you are unable to.

I was able to get it scanned in two sizes, but the large 24000 dpi was to large to go online so here is the 75 dpi version.

Brian yes I do plan on framing them, and having a Galactica display area. If you have the ability to scan full sized posters I'll tak you up on that offer.

Originally, the mask was created by Craig Reardon as one of background aliens as seen in the casino on Carillon in "Saga of a Star World".

The mask was later slightly changed (with some hair added) to be used as Boray in "The Magnificent Warriors".

If you'd like to know more about the Porcine Alien and the other alien designs created for BSG, you must read this:

Simple fix. Once you finish the read at the bottom of the page click the "Prev" button, and your on link #2, and the the same to get to link #1. Problem solved.
