Colonial Laser Pistol on Otherworld tv episode in 1985...

I was watching an Otherworld episode titled "Princess Metra" and I spotted the same laser pistol that the Colonial Warriors carried on Battlestar Galactica. A few of the Metraplex guards were holding pistols when they captured a hot air balloon which landed at the beginning of the episode. Also, the pistols showed up later towards the end of the episode on another guards holster. The episode was from 1985, so I guess the laser guns were left over for a few years at Universal. Some how I missed the posting from 2 weeks ago. Very cool find, I was wondering why Universal never used the hand props, like the blaster in other shows, but clearly they did. By the way, the buck majority of the costumes, and props left Universal in 1992. Shortly after the Battle of Galactica was closed down. I believe it was a fire sale they had. Many many props, and set were destroyed and that is when Universal decided to revamp the park, and the tram ride. They dreamed up a major theme park, and the City Walk after that fire that is believed to have burned the Viper. No one has claimed they have seen the Viper since the fire. If it didn't burn I suspect it was tossed out with the rest of the trash during clean up of the fire.
