Mattel Landram on eBay

Post by Red Eye » Wed Dec 28, 2011 12:16 pm

The super rare Mattel Landram with original box is for sale on eBay... with a hefty price tag of $8.000!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mattel-1979-BAT ... 2c61bd1e05

Nevertheless, the photos of the item are quite nice and detailed and would be a nice addition for our Mattel Toy Gallery! *Hint, hint*

About 12 times the going rate for a Land Ram in that condition. Also 5 offers were made, but not accepted since the listing is still active an other 24 days. Clearly he has no idea of the worth or value of that piece, or is just playing games. Either way it will cost him a pretty penny to play that game for listing it as such a high price.

Agree its his money to waste I guess. I think I sold my simular condition Landram many years ago in the same condition complete SAN box on EBAY for about $600 way before the economy tanked in 04.

It is a rare Candaian only toy. They were made in both Firing and non firing versions.

I made this post because I do not know what a fair price is to ask for this toy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Its missing a cannon, one of two types both firing and non firing which are next to impossible to find

Its missing two viperpilots which can be found loose from time to time on Ebay. No Box and no instuctions. Its market value is realisticlly is $250 tops. :cylongold:
