That does look great! Any idea if it more cost effective than having it commercially done? Would you be interested in doing more? I'm asking because I have a crap load of stuff that is in need of chrome but "my guy" is really slow at getting it started.

Re: My first cylon project
It's as good as chrome plating in my opinion....we are really just learning this process. The next couple of weeks are the big test. The system we have is the smaller system and I am a little worried that the larger pieces such as the back pack might be a problem. The cost is cheaper in the long run....the cost for a whole suit is probably less than $250 in chemicals
The real cost is the system. The one we have cost about 2400. The larger system runs about 8000
I will have a better update over the next couple of weeks. If all goes well we will take a few commission jobs....also might be interested in trades
Will let you know

Re: My first cylon project
Here are a couple of pieces we got from the company that sells this product. We sent a few pieces to them so they could demonstrate the process for us. These have been clear coated. You can't use any clear on this process....you have to use the clear supplied by cosmichrome.
