Hello from the UK

Post by badboybez » Thu Jan 24, 2013 5:39 pm

Hello from the UK!

Been a fan from the 1970s TV series and enjoyed the new BSG.

Main focus is collecting merchandise from the 70s TV series, mostly the figures and ships.
At one point I had two collections going including Star Wars but recently sold them off to concentrate on BSG.

Not had a proper look at the site as of yet...but is there a section concentrating on the merchandise / toy lines from the 70s?

I've got one piece that I would like to get more info on if possible - a multi pack that I think came from Sears but I've not seen this one before.

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome badboybez!

Oh we have great merchandise resources YES - thanks to our Gallery Admin, Red Eye.
Here is the main gallery page:

Here is the BSG listing (You'll see the main Merchandise page link here):

Multipacks are here: http://www.byyourcommand.net/cylongalle ... ?album=402
Not sure if Sears had any, they seem to have had only bed sheets and stuff... but I could be totally wrong.

Check it out, we have allllll sorts of images of alllllll sorts of stuff. Hope to see your collection and if you can give any images of items to add to the Gallery we'd love to have them and grow the Gallery bigger and better!

Some great photos on there. Is it a different log in for that part of he site as it does not except this log in details?

I will put up a thread with pics in the 70s TV listings. If it is in the wrong place please can it be put in the right place?

With regards to the images they can be re-used for the gallery.

However I think most are already in the gallery.

A Gallery "log in" isn't really needed...
There are membership items in the out-of-the-box gallery software, but we don't use them... we have it setup to just look and enjoy!
Adding any images the admins take care of, just email them to us and we'll put them in for everyone to enjoy.

Post up a thread in the forum here of your collection, that would be great! Can't wait to see all the items you've gotten from BSG. Are you doing all classic... or nuBSG too?

Welcome badboybez. I'm new here too. Though I don't have room for collections here so the only way I'll see this stuff probably is when people post it online. Would love to see what your collection contains.

AWESOME collection you got there! Thanks for shring these photos with us.

Congratulations on having all weapons with the loose figures! The small pistols used by Adama, Starbuck and Baltar are missing on most loose specimens. A complete Boray is also hard to find these days...

About the 3 Pack: These were advertised by JC Penney around 1979 via mail-in.

I think I've seen your pack some time ago on eBay but it seems to be rarer than the one with Baltar, Lucifer and the Cylon Commander. Good catch!

Could you provide some larger-sized photos of it since I'd love to use them for out Mattel Gallery, if you don't mind.

Yes no problems with providing better photos - will sort my camera out this weekend.

Just added some more bits - photos just by iPhone so not great.

Have a Boray sealed MOC to add and a kids Cylon costume somewhere that is boxed. Will go a hunting
