Our Imperious Leader!

Post by Cylon-Knight » Tue Oct 14, 2008 8:58 pm

I was looking on eBay for some Cylon armor (I STILL NEED SOME FOLKS )... and I found an awesome I.L. outfit/display!

Check it out - click here for the eBay link.

Yes I saw that, and over all not a bad look. Better than anyone else I have seen make to date. Good luck to the seller.

The costume ist not quite screen-accurate, but it's nice to see a reappaerance of a Imperious Leader-costume on eBay since the original was sold by Profiles in History in 2005.

By the way: Do you all know my Imperious Leader-tribute video on YouTube I've uploaded recently? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAbox1Qhu9A

Hay, I have a question and I'm sure somebody will know the answer.

If humans created the cylons to work as slaves, then where did the imperious leader come from? Who created that or where did he come from and how did he end up controlling the cylons? Come on I'm sure someone knows out there?

WELL... once upon a time...
In the classic Battlestar, the Cylons were not created by man... they were created by a race of reptile-people called the Cylons to be their slaves. The new machines said: I don't think so!, and took over, killed off all of the reptile-people Cylons, assumed their name (Cylon) and then decided, ya know what? we hate any humanoid race - especially the colonials in the neighboring star system - let's go get em! *zap* *zap*

And, heading up the new robotic Cylons was an Imperious Leader (an I.L. series robot, similar to the Lucifer character). The Imperious Leader wears a second skin outfit that looked like a reptilian Cylon -a twisted murderous-machine kick back to their origin. (Isn't that sweet?!)

It's also plausible that Count Iblis was directly involved with the creation of the robotic Cylons and the Imperious Leader as well. That explains the same voice of Iblis and the Imperious Leader.

The Imperious Leader could also be another personification or spirit of Count Iblis...

During the Realm Press BSG-comic continuation, there was also a very interesting story arc of the history of the Cylons. If you're interested, I could scan the story for you and upload it here.

Red Eye, that would be great if you could scan/post that. That would be some good reading.

Your right... Iblis may have used the I.L. as a puppet to advance his evil count plans!

AWESOME! Thanks.

I took the images and put some "pop" back into the dark colors... but my new file is near 30 MB. If anyone would want it, I could post it to. The only difference is the colors.

I just skimmed over it for now... it seems like what the "new series" humans must have went through since they created the cylons.

WOW. I read it, and the I.L..... he's a mean dude!

That is interesting in this work how it really wasn't the robots that took over, the insane lizard did in his own race. The art is great too!

That Imperious leader bust looks like Samuel L. Jackson.
