Checking in for Duty

Post by Tinman » Sun Nov 22, 2009 11:58 pm

Hello All from Arkansas all my fellow Metal Brothers!

Checking in on the site (Finally) after some VERY greatfully received help from fellow Centurion Cylon-Knight. SHARP SALUTE SIR!

Am big into the Cylons of both BSG1 & BSG2 and was a big fan of TOS when it first came on. My main interest lies more with the Ships, Fighters and Weapons used by the Cylon Empire.

After listening to CK go on on other forums about his Cylon Suit build I have decided to look very seriously into building one for myself. I have built a Tie Fighter pilot costume before so maybe that will help me out in the process.

I look forward to talking to all of you soon and I hope you will not mind in the future answering the hundreds of questions I have backed up on several different subjects coverning the build.

BY YOUR COMMAND.......

<S>!

WELCOME! Glad you are here, post often and ask questions - yes! We'll all get to learn more about CYLONS! (cool).

I'm building a raider too - yes, love the ships! - check out my thread over in the model section. I need to get back to that - PESKY work keeps getting in the way ;)

I have a co-worker who "IF" he would do a costume would do a Tie Pilot.
Ironic!
BUT, better to have online friends who DO make costumes than ones that just "talk" about it. HA

Welcome, looking forward to seeing you start your build!

Hey Tinman glad you made it on board. Did your name arrive from Oz, or Trek?

Neither Actually

Just a name I came up with to represent the "Centurion." I actually never did think of either OZ or ST when I came up with it.

Thanks also for the Welcome guys.

It is fitting as Cylons were called "tin cans" by the colonials in classic BSG.
