I certainly will.

I've spoke to my pal about making another mask from the mold and he said he would do it when he can afford the time. So if you're still interested...

That's a very good question you asking here, Cylon-Knight.

I can quite imagine that when they've got more money and time during the productional phase for the original series' pilot, they would have get rid of this long robe and had created a full reptilian bodysuit for the Leader.

I was also wondering of how the Leader would look like beneath his robe. Does he have a robotic body or an artificial reptilian-skinned body under there?

I think it would be a mix of both. Or lizard with armor similar to the Centurions. Perhaps something with a bit of "royal-ness" too... something like the IL Series fancy robes?

Certainly something fun to think of.

There's nothing new to report in the meantime, sorry...

My pal promised to contact me last weekend, but nothing happened...

As I said, he's very very unreliable... I'll phone him the next days to make a new appointment.

As soon as there are any news, I'll inform you.

At long, long last, here's the latest update on his Eminence...

My pal mailed me that the mask and headpiece will be definately finished before the end of the year...

He also wrote that both "cat's eyes" are fully installed. They're powered and activated through a switch/battery pack whose wiring runs down from the masks' backhead which then can be neatly inserted in my pocket.

The jaw still makes trouble, because it doesn't transmit the movement of my chin to the mask as it should. But this problem will be solved at my next visit. So it's evident to build some kind of enhancement which helps to support the mouth movement.

The other thing I don't like yet is the headpiece. It's still too small compared to the mask and the basic shape still doesn't look right either. But fortunately, it was made of wire covered with latex so it shouldn't be a problem to alter its shape until it satisfies me.

Sadly, he didn't send any new pics with his mail but as soon as I pay my next visit, I gonna make plenty of pics for sure! :salute:

Until then: "By MY command."

Good news for the Imperious Leader: I've received a call from my pal this afternoon.

He said that I'd be able to pick up the finished mask along with the pet lizard next wednesday.

Here are the first test-fitting pics of the NEARLY FINISHED Imperious Leader mask and headpiece...

My pal stated that I'd be able to pick up the finished props within the next two weeks.

100% WOW!
By Your Command, your Eminence.

How did the power system work out for the lights? Where is it all housed, what runs it, etc. etc.?

That is genuine 100% awesome. I had no idea that the back side had a netting type of look to it. Man oh man that is so darn cool looking. A great job so far. Now what about the mannequin in a seated position for the awesome throne chair you built?
