On the NEW (2006) BSG the CG version of the ship i could see they recreated some of the kit-bashed model parts used on the original! I thought that was pretty cool.

Can you point out some of these parts, and pieces. I'd like to see what they are.

Sounds a lot like the Razor Centurions that were more 1978 style... they had the Salt and Pepper holes in their brows... CGI animations didn't "need" them to see out like old school guy-in-a-suit Cylons. But, they addeded that classic touch to the digital figures - cool stuff! I never noticed the Galactica's classic touches... pics would be great, yes.

On the nose of the new Galactica, they re-created some parts used from the plastic Kits,The Hasegawa Leopold rail-gun and the Morser karl kits (used ALOT on the Original BSG and on the Cylon Raiders) If you compare my nose photos above on our Atlantia to a new BSG nose photo, you can see some of the same parts.
