any uk shows with cylons
As the title suggests. I just wandered if any of the Uk shows had cylons attending. I usually see stormtroopers or startrek people but never seen a cylon at a show.

Re: any uk shows with cylons
Yes my friend.
I'm part of a costuming club called Reel Icons part of the 501st uk garrison.
In the club we have a cylon that makes regular appearances, such as Mem at the NEC or movie mania weekends at the national space centre as well as over big conventions throughout the year.
I myself am in the middle of building my own cylon but this won't be ready for a while.

I've just been on our forum and Guy Thomas will be in his Cylon all weekend. He has a KC suit with mods. He is a really nice guy.

Re: any uk shows with cylons
went to the nec today. I was in the queue and I saw the cylon walking away. Wanting to get a photo but not wanting to give up my place in the line I shout out CYLON. He turned around and I got the photo.
Later on in the day I caught up with the cylon again and managed to get a group photo of me, my wife the cylon and a cononial warrior. Will post up pics later.

Re: any uk shows with cylons
I have just got back from this show. An awesome time was had. I didn't make the Saturday as I had to work. Shame would of been great to meet you.
The Cylon is Guy Thomas and one of the nicest guys you could meet, he also has a MP3 player attached to his finger so he can play "by your command" as he wants too.
The warrior is Martin, another great guy! In fact our costuming group has quite a large BSG following, you should check them out, reel icons.

I did have a brief conversation with the cononial warrior but didn't get to talk much as lots of people were wanting photos.
