The proper gloves are Cooper Armadillo thumbs 28, and I just sold a pair of unpainted booys on eBay. The correct pair of boots are Georgia Engineer. I will be listing a painted pair of Cylon ready to wear booys this weekend. My eBay user name is ChromedFX and I currenty have items listed. As for the chrome, it looks good, but the back pack is 100% wrong. The under suit isn't even close, and well ChrisD posted a comment a while back, very detailed on the problems he had with his purchase of a Kropserkle suit. Look up his posting, under members, and you will find a great report on what he thinks of the Cylon costume.Moore3160 wrote:What do you recommend for gloves and boots?

I'll be looking for those boots.
Well I only ordered the armor kit.
Most of Chrisds complents were about glove boot and undersuit.
And a lot of the things he said were missing from his undersuit.
You can see in the picture I posted are there now.
Most makers improve as time goes on.
Well we'll see I'll post pics and comment when I get my armor.
Thanks for your feedback.

I am sure that Kropserkle CAN'T make the improvements for a few reasons, one the original gloves are to hard to find, and they mass produce this suit. The back pack is different because I don't think this suit is a lic item, and then the boots are cheapo, because they need cut corners to sell this suit, and then the undersuit, that is just a very hard to make.Moore3160 wrote:I'll be looking for those boots.

I think for the small amount of the true 1:1 builders of the Cylon, we can judge it as not a accurate screen used, since we have put many many years of research into trying to make a true 1:1 comparison of a true screen used Cylon. Nothing bad is meant to anyone that puts time and effort into building a Cylon, even a taped together chromed fiber board.
