my thoughts.......
I'm a fairly big guy, I had to tear the foam out of my cuffs to get them to fit. I found that posture is pretty important-ok, paramount into having things fit.
Being a cylon is lonely and hot. You can barely see, and you can't really talk to anyone. Did I mention it was hot? Mostly just the helmet, it's hot.
So-
What can I do you get myself a cylon voice ? I saw the hyperdyne link when I did a search, does anyone have more info or any recordings ? I'd really like to be able to tell frakkers to frakoff, especially the frakking Kate Frakoff clones that carry around the toasters.. :frak:

Re: So after Dragon con some thoughts and questions
I have set up in my backpack and iPod with two speakers for the eye effect. I also have in the chest an iPod with two speakers on a random loop stating Cylon quotes! It's enough to get peoples attention and move out of my way

I used to have a power amp attached to the chest piece with the eye scanner loop and random voice comments.

I have an mp3 player with a speaker in my backpack with a 15min loop I use.
lol, it's funny when you're in an elevator and the person right behind you says, "what is that noise I'm hearing?"

Re: So after Dragon con some thoughts and questions
Get a mini portable mp3 speaker and connect a mini usb drive to it. Velcro it to the inside of the chest plate so you don't have to take the backpack off if you want to turn it off. The sound has to be prerecorded and saved onto the Usb drive. ( loop the eye warbler sound and layer the Cylon voice over it.) There's currently no real time voice changer on the market you can buy. If there is you'd have to stick more gear into an already crammed helmet.

Attention All Cylons
SUBJECT: Voice and Eye sounds
Purchased: Kropserkel
POSTED BY: Omega3
................................... Kropserkel has a setup for a cylon voice and cylon eye sound .......................
Cylon Voice sound: For the sum of $500.00 USD you get the following:
(1) a white power pack
(2) VT3 unit by Roland
(3) a Sound Spot ( Speaker ) by Soundfreaq
For VT3, Kropserkel will program or preset three different voice emulation of the cylons by the buttons marked one, two, or three on the VT3. Pushing any of these buttons will automatically bring those programs into effect, no matter what the other knobs and sliders have been adjusted to.
You will receive all of the cables that you will need to charge all of the components. Aside from the white box that powers the VT3, everything else is charged by USB.
Cylon Eye sound: The SPFX MP3 player is a separate item with a cost of $85.00 USD.
This item will have 35 program saying and a 15 minutes loop eye sound that you can extend 10 more times which equals 2 - 1/2 hours playing time. Of course, power with battery powered stereo speaker/amp called 808 CANZ The battery charged by USB too. Plus all of the cables that you will need to charge all of the components.
In my opinion, both of these systems is worth it's wait in gold. There may be a cheaper way but not the same sound quality.
If you have any question, just send a PM
