I apologize if this is not posted in the correct area but there's a situation you as classic Battlestar fans should be made aware of.
A few days ago, Laurette (Spang) McCook (Cassiopea) set up an emergency gofundme campaign to help Jack Stauffer, the actor who played Lt. Bojay in classic Galactica, Sheba's wingman in the Pegasus' Silver Spar Squadron, and old friend of Starbuck's from another command in the fleet. You know the character. You may even know the actor. He's a really nice guy. He slipped in his yard in 2020 and injured himself so badly it very recently led to having his leg amputated above the knee, and he lives in the US and is not rich, so his expenses are obscene and mounting.
If you can spare a few cubits to help him out with medical bills and let him know that his fans have his back, I'm sure any amount will help.
