I wanted it to be not quite a cutesy highly stylized chibi characterization, but still sort of cartoony. I plan to continue on the illustration electronically and then colorize him digitally as well.

Hi all, thought I'd post a little drawing I've been working on as it is so far...

Very cool, very very cool. I love this stuff.
Off subject a bit I was at World Con in San Fran a few weeks ago and I saw a demo of a program that takes your drawings like the Cylon, and makes it into a moving character so you could make your own cartoons. It was very cool, the demo (a pro doing the demo) made a quick 10 sec loop in about 2 minutes. I was wondering if someone could make a cartoon version of BSG when I saw this. Anyway great work, and keep up the good work.

Thanks Red Eye. I didn't see that episode, sounds good... I can't imagine the plot that would have Cylons in Springfield!
I did the colored versions in high resolution... I think they'd look pretty cool on a T-Shirt. 8)
I thought about doing an Imperious Leader and IL Series drawings... maybe someday I'll get to them.
