You're right. The Destroyer was formerly a ship of the rag-tag fleet. They've just added the large wings (which where from an Starfighter from Buck Rogers) and a few minor alterations as well.

Give me a little time and I might be able to find the photo of the rag-tag ship before it was converted to the Eastern Alliance Destroyer.
