 | BasestarBasestars are the immense capital warships of the Cylon Empire. They are capable of carrying and supporting over three hundred Raiders. Armed with missiles, over one hundred defensive laser turrets and two long range mega pulsar weapons, a Basestar is more than a match for any unprepared or unaware Battlestar. Basestars are also designed for orbital bombardment of a planet, and, true to their name, also serve as a moving base of operations. Four complete squadrons of Raiders is the typical complement of a Basestar. |

 | MineA Cylon Mine is an explosive spaceborn device deployed by the Cylons in the Straits of Madagon. In an already dangerous area of space, destroying the mine field is an extremely risky mission, but is the only viable option left open to the fleet. Captain Apollo, along with Lieutenants Boomer and Starbuck launch in specially shielded Vipers to clear the Cylon minefield. The Cylon Mine can withstand temperatures capable of melting the hull of a Colonial Viper, but a single shot from a Viper mounted laser torpedo launcher is enough to destroy the mine. |

 | RaiderThe Raider is the primary fighter attack craft of the Cylons. Raiders are typically crewed by three Centurions. Two Centurions sit up front at the controls to pilot the ship, while the third Centurion sits on a raised chair behind the others to command and coordinate. Raiders are armed with two forward-firing laser cannons and can carry bombs in bays within the wings and on racks mounted beneath the wings. Oval in shape, the piloted Raider has two sublight engines for propulsion. The vehicle is both space and atmosphere-capable.
On extended missions, Raiders have been known to be accompanied by fuel tankers. This allows wings of Raiders to cross large areas of space (relatively speaking) at sublight speeds without the aid of a Basestar. This tactic is normally used on sneak attack missions, allowing Raider wings to slip past enemy defenses undetected, whereas a Basestar would easily be spotted by enemy scanners.
Despite their larger crew and greater potential for firepower, the Raider often finds itself outmatched by the Colonial Viper. This may be in part to the greater maneuverability of the Viper, and the skill of the Colonial Warriors that fly them. |

 | TankerThe Cylon Tanker is an unarmed ship used throughout the Cylon sphere of influence to transport fuel and other goods. Cylon fuel tankers may be used to support an offensive operation. These crafts allowing the fighters to deploy far in excess of the ranges they are normally capable of without Basestar support. |
